摘要
翻译与文化密切相关。无论中文商标英译时采用哪种方法,都应符合出口对象国的文化习俗。结合商标英译中出现的一些问题和成功翻译案例,阐明翻译者的文化修养直接影响其翻译水准,提高文化修养对于翻译商标十分重要。
Translation is closely related to culture.Whichever way is employed to translate Chinese trademarks into English,it should conform to the cultural customs of the import country.Combining some questions emerged from the translation of Chinese trademarks into English and some successful translation cases,the author expounds that translators' cultural training directly influences on quality of translation,and it is highly important for a trademark translator to improve his cultural training.
