Symbiotic Stars

本文介绍了自本世纪初发现共生星以来共生星研究的历史。着重讨论了当前在光学、紫外、红外和射电各波段的观测所取得的结果。介绍了目前关于共生星的模型和演化的理论。

Investigations on symbiotic stars since Merrill's pioneering work at the beginning of this century are reviewed. In this paper we put emphasis on discussions of results of modern optical, ultraviolet, infrared and radio observations ofsymbiotic stars. In addition, the evolution of symbiotic stars and symbiotic binary models are briefly presented.
