The shortcomings of traditional vibration monitoring system mainly are: (1) it is very difficult to convert the output of the impact oscillation graph on the ultraviolet recording paper into numeric data, (2) for signal transmitting from measuring sensor to amplifier, there is a need of several dozens or hundreds metres cable.
