论镁电解过程产生“沸腾”的宏观机制

摘要 研讨了镁电解槽中产生“沸腾”现象的宏观机制。试验证明,硫酸盐、氧化镁等杂质的存在是产生“沸腾”的根本原因。此类杂质引起阳极上产生的氯气泡的细散化,进而破坏了电解质熔体——氯气泡两相流的正常运动状态,结果导致“沸腾”。文中依据提出的宏观机制对“沸腾”时出现的各种现象进行讨论,提出了预防和消除“沸腾”的措施。 The macroscopic mechanism of a very harmful "bubbling" of anode gases sometimes happened in magnesium electrolysis cell was studied. It was indicated that the abnormal "bubbling" was caused by some impurities such as SO_4^(2-) and MgO. When the electrolyte contained more than certain amount of one of these impurities, the bubbles separated from the anode surface became tiny and decentralised.
