Quantitative determination of cimetidine by pH-indicator absorbance ratio method

本文提出以pH 指示剂吸收值比值法测定西咪替丁的含量。本法采用指示剂为0.05%的溴酚蓝,测定波长为431nm 和599nm。标准液为0.1mol/L 盐酸液;本文测定了五批国产西咪替丁含量,同时与药典法比较,结果一致。本法结果准确、重现性好,适用于西咪替丁的常规分析。

In this paper a pH-indicator absorbance ratio method for the determination of cimetidine is reported.0.05% solotion ofbromophenol blue was used as indicator and 0.1 mol/L hydrochloric acid solution as volumetric solution.The absorbances weremeasured at 431nm and 599nm.The contents of five batches of cimetidine were determined.The method was precise,com-parable with the official method,and suitable for the routine assay of cimetidine.
