摘要
本文在考虑了光纤光栅的位相后,利用稳态多模速率方程组,对光纤光栅外腔半导体激光器(FGESL)的静态工作特性进行理论分析。结果表明:随着注入电流和耦合效率的增加,FGESL的SMSR总体上呈上升趋势。在强反馈情况下,得到了边模抑制比可达40dB,并且变化曲线比较平滑;然而,在弱反馈情况下,边模抑制比<36dB,并且呈现明显的抖动。
In this paper,after taking into account the phase of fiber grating,the side-mode-supression-ratio(SMSR)of fiber grating external cavity semiconductor lasers(FGESL)has been investigated.The numerical simulation results show that,with the increase of injected current and the coupling efficiency,the SMSR will increase on the whole.For stong feedback,the SMSR become more flattened with more than 40dB.However,for weak feedback,the SMSR is less than 36dB accompanied by an oscillation during rising course.
