本文简单介绍基于加速器的原子物理学这门分支学科建立的历史过程，分析它的特点，并详细评述基于加速器的原子物理学进展情况和最新成就。
The formative process of accelerator based atomic physics, as a branch of atomicphysics, is briefly described. The progress of ABAP, including the recent advances, are re-viewed in some detail.
