综合运用各类调查法和文献资料法对我国体育学研究生培养历程进行回顾，对教育工作现状进行全面调查和实证描述，对存在问题及面临形势进行深入分析和探讨，对教育改革提出对策建议。其目的是为了推动我国体育学研究生教育工作和学位工作迅速发展，在体育学教育领域内尽快地实现我们国家硕士生、博士生培养基本立足于国内的战略目标。
