Since China Telecom, China Unicom, China GBnet have developed their commercial test of IP phone, many people begin to interest in IP phone. This paper introduces the origination of IP phone, standard protocol and organization of IP phone, relation of IP phone and traditional phone, analysis of international and Chinese market of IP phone. At last, there is brief conclusion of forecast and opinion about China IP phone service.
