A method of index reducing —factor reducing method—is introduced by an example.How to determine the weights of reduced factors and the characteristics of the reduced factors are also discussed.For large scale problems with many indexes the amount of data is so large that it is very difficult to process and to analyze though the factor analysis is used.The working load of data processing and analyzing can be effectively reduced by factor reducing method.
