An Efficient Symbol Timing Algorithm for WiMAX System

摘要 本文为采纳正交频分复用(OFDM)技术的WiMAX系统提供了一种有效的符号定时算法。这种新的方法以已知的前导序列为基础,设计用来消除Schmidl算法中符号同步的不确定性和传统的滑动相关算法出现的次峰值,有效性分析和仿真显示新算法在符号定时和算法效率上都具有优势。 This paper provided an efficient symbol timing algorithm for WiMAX system with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) technology.This algorithm is based on the known preamble sequence and designed to eliminate the ambiguity of the symbol timing algorithm in Schmidl's algorithm and the hypo-pinnacles in traditional sliding correlation method.Validity analysis and simulation reveal the new algorithm is preponderant in symbol timing and operation efficiency.
