无线ad hoc网络中的带宽预留保证机制研究

摘要 近几年IEEE802.11无线网络得到了迅速的发展,并已经被广泛地应用在人们的工作和生活中。本文应用跨层设计的思想,提出了一种结合网络层和MAC层的跨层带宽预留保证机制——邻居预留(NR,Neighborhood Reservation),以减轻ad hoc网络中由于邻居节点在MAC层的信道竞争,对带宽预留产生的影响。 With the rising popularity of IEEE 802.11 wireless networks, and the explosive increase of multimedia traffic (such as video, audio) in the Internet, the research on performance and QoS of wireless networks becomes more and more important. To allevi-ate the impact on reserved bandwidth caused by channel contention at MAC layer in ad hoc networks, we proposed a cross-layer mechanism, neighborhood reservation (NR), which can provide guarantee for the bandwidth reservation.
