有效的图像检索系统必须充分利用图像的语义信息。本文在分析传统图像检索的基础上提出了基于本体的图像检索,并对其进行了详细的阐述和论证。基于本体的图像检索的提出为实现图像检索的智能化、语义化提供了良好的技术支持。

An effective image retrieval system must make fully use of the semantic contents of images. In this paper, we propose a framework of intelligent image retrieval system based on Ontology, through analyzing the principle, technology, tool and feature of the traditional retrievals in Web.
