The 23 Years of City Science in China

作者回顾了自1982年中国自然辩证法研究会和国家城市建设总局联合召开城市建设辩证法学术座谈以来的城市科学研究,总结了我国城市科学的产生和城市科学理论探索以及实践中的体会,同时提出了近年来城市发展中出现的问题,这些问题应当成为城市科学研究的导向。

The paper gave a review of the city studies from 1982 when City Building Dialectics Symposium was jointly convoked both by The Chinese Society for Dialectics of Nature /philosophy of Nature, Science and Technology and The State’s City Building Bureau, and sums up the emerge, the studies and the theories of the city science as well as experience. It also point out the problems existed in the city development in recent years, which should be taken as the important topic to be studied by city science.
