摘要
面对明清之际西洋绘画的传入,中国文人用传统的"形神"理论来消化西方绘画中的视觉真实性,采其"逼真"而讥其"匠气"的态度是自然的。但在历史的演进中这种新的视觉样式被画家们主动地吸纳到自己的艺术实践里。本文认为,发展到清末,中国绘画中对视觉真实的追求已经成为时尚。
When confronted with western paintings that entered China during Ming and Qing dynasty, Chinese artists applied the traditional theory of 'appearance and spirit' to understand the visual authenticity of western paintings and naturally developed the attitude of endorsing its authenticity while mocking its craftsmanship. In gradual evolution, artists actively absorbed the new visual forms in their practices. By the end of Qing dynasty, pursuing visual authenticity had become a trend in Chinese paintings.
