应用型英语本科专业课程建设的思考

On the Curriculum Construction for Applied English Majors

本文以应用型大学英语本科专业课程改革和实践为基础,对我国高等院校英语专业人才培养现状和课程设置进行了分析,并对我国高等教育进入大众普及化以后,应如何面对社会的发展对外语人才的需要进行了思考。文章指出,课程体系是人才培养规格和目标的集中体现。应用型英语本科专业课程建设应在语言能力、专业知识和相关专业方向上加大实践性和应用性,体现应用型人才素质培养和富有创新思想的培养目标。

This paper,through the analysis of the traditional English curriculum in Chinese colleges,discusses some deficient points in present curriculum,explores the possibility of the curriculum construction of English majors for applied—oriented college students and offers a description of an applied curriculum practiced by English major in School of International Studies of Beijing City University.
