语言与文化互为熔铸。为了培养和提高跨文化交际意识和交际能力,英语教师应该在讲授语言规则的同时贯穿讲授中西文化,以期提高学生跨文化交际能力。这一教学理念理应成为"应用型本科"英语教学的重要目标之一。

Within the framework of cross-cultural communication, the present thesis purports to probe into the target of the English language teaching in relation to culture teaching. Language and culture are embedded and melted in one another; hence for the English teachers the necessity of a high awareness of teaching culture by virtue of teaching language. In this manner the ability of cross-cultural communication of the English majors can be hopefully elevated.
