12 000 DWT multi-purpose bulk carrier is a new type multi-purpose bulk carrier designed by SDARI for Germanic owners. The ship type is characterized with its more function, more equipment, compact arrangement, complicated structure and can meet more requirements of owners. The article briefly describes the general design situation and the major features of main dimension, subdivision form, main equipment, general arrangement, lightship weight, intact stability, damage stability, etc.
