摘要
论文作者运用比较文学形象学中的原理和方法,如“套语”、“自我”与“他者”等,通过文本材料的考辩与分析,从中国学者的角度,来考察作为形象的制造者的耶稣会传教士利玛窦如何认识和看待佛教的以及他与中国佛教关系,探讨“蜕化为国有”的中国佛教与作为“他者”的基督教在流传中国的过程中的异同规律。
Theories and methods of imagology in Comparative Literature are applied in this paper to analyze the texts leftby Matteo Ricci, a great missionary during the Ming Dynasty. The author tries to show how the image-maker Ricci got to knowChinese Buddhism and his relationship with it. Besides, the author wants to probe some similarities and differences betweenChinese Buddhism and Christianity when they entered China in earlier periods.
