Simulation and analysis of MAC protocol in MANET based on NS2

网络仿真已经成为无线通信网络分析设计的有效工具,首先介绍了NS2的体系结构和网络仿真的设计过程,然后探讨了移动自组网的IEEE 802.11 MAC协议特征以及仿真参数设置。在此基础上,通过具体的实验对MAC协议进行仿真并分析其性能。

Network simulation has become one of the efficient tools to analyze and design the wireless communication networks.This paper first introduces the architecture of NS2 simulator and describes the design of simulation;then discusses the characteristics of 802.11 MAC protocol in MANET and parameter settings in the simulation.Based on this,it designs the experiments and implements the simulation to analyze the performances of MAC protocol.
