由于职业院校办学历史大都比较短,其办学规模、专业设置、学科研究、学生管理、招生就业均与普通高校和中专职校有所不同,具有自身的办学特点、培养模式。由此决定职业院校图书馆必须适应自身院校的实际发展,针对高职生的特点开展图书馆工作,如组织开展丰富多彩的读书活动、举办各种讲座,增强图书馆的吸引力。同时要更加注重高职生获取信息能力的培养,并根据职业院校的特点,制定和确立合理的文献资源建设规划和原则。
