A living example about removing the hidden fault of the onload tap-changing switch of a measuring transformer is described;the example shows that when analyzing the measured result of DC resistance in the transformer windings,except the unbalance ratio of DC resistance should be examined;the distribution difference of DC resistance between neighbour resistance grades of every phase should be examined also to ascertain the on-load tap-changing switch whether or not exists fault.
