综述了贝类凝集素的特性与功能.凝集素是一类非免疫来源的具有多价构型的热敏糖蛋白,广泛存在于贝类血淋巴细胞和生殖细胞的细胞膜表面、胞浆内和胞浆外的体液中,能够与特异性糖基化合物作可逆的非共价结合.基于对异源性物质或细胞膜表面糖基的特异性识别与结合功能,贝类凝集素在生命体中发挥着识别并凝集限制异物作用、激活免疫系统溶细胞作用、生殖细胞间相互粘附的桥梁作用、与共生生物之间(如肠道益生菌)的物质与能量转换作用.贝类凝集素可诱导表达,但在不同的条件下其凝集活性有很多差异性.贝类凝集素凝集活性还受金属离子、环境温度、盐度、pH值等外界因子及发育阶段、健康状况等内部因素影响.
