试论我市地方文献数字化工程与数字图书馆建设——兼论我市市级图书馆建设

图书馆是不可或缺的社会文化机构,新时期的图书馆还扮演了社会信息化基地的重要任务,我市亟需建设市级图书馆。根据我市市情:我市古籍亟待数字化抢救;大量地方文献需要数字化开发利用;国内外许多重要的与我市经济发展、社会进步和公众学习密切相关的信息资源,需要我市尽快建设数字图书馆开展服务。在市政财力有限、市级传统图书馆尚未实质建设的情况下,根据传统文献资源需要在多年累积建设之后才容易发挥较大作用的客观事实,可以优先建设市级数字图书馆,特别是以宁德师专图书馆为依托优先建设我市数字图书馆。
