英语中的性别歧视现象及其根源

如其他的语言一样,性别歧视现象也广泛存在于英语之中。对其研究也可追溯到17世纪。其分析角度也已扩展到各个领域。包括社会语言学,语用学等等。本文试着从社会语言学的角度出发,揭示语义、语法等方面存在的性别歧视。并分析产生性别歧视的根源。

The sexism is common in English as in the other language.The study on it can date back to 17th century.Owning to this, it has been analyzed from a variety of perspectives,including sociolinguistic and pragmatics.Therefore,this paper tries to see from so- ciolinguistic as well,aiming at reveal the sexism exists in semantic and grammar.In addition,it intends to analyze the reasons for the sexism.I hope this paper may help you to get a clear picture of sexism.
