摘要
本文以英语专业本科二年级105名学生为调查对象,运用SPSS软件13.0版,研究了英语语法与篇章阅读理解的关系.结果表明,语法与阅读理解有较高的相关关系:阅读任务较难时,两者相关性较大;调查对象语法掌握较弱时,两者相关性更大.在这些发现的基础上,文章最后讨论了这一研究对我国英语教学的启示.
With the participation of 105 sophomore English majors, an investigation is made,through SPSS(13.0 version),into the correlational relationship between English grammar and discourse reading comprehension.The results show that there is a significantly positive correlational relationship between the two,and that the correlational relationship is stronger when the reading tasks are more difficult,and when the participants are weaker in grammar.Based upon these findings,the implications of this investigation for English teaching in our country are discussed toward the end of the paper.
