摘要
本文针对基于腾讯QQ网络平台开展的实时在线英语口语教学扩展课程,探讨实现基于现代网络通讯技术,开展实时在线英语口语教学实践的有效性.36名被试参加了此网络口语扩展活动并回答了为此项活动专门设计的调查问卷.研究结果表明,教师要能够有效地开展在线英语口语教学,需要考虑诸多因素的影响.
This paper explores the possibilities of teaching oral English online through the application of the Tencent QQ communication platform,which is the most popular free instant messaging computer program in Asia and the 3rd most popular IM service provider in the world(Indiatimes News Network,2007).The study was conducted based on an extended English language course at a Chinese university.36 subjects registered for the course and participated in the study.Findings reveal that multiple factors should be put into consideration to ensure that effective online oral English instruction can be made possible.
