摘要
汉语文古籍是中国的文化遗产,它记录了中华传统文化,对学术研究有重要价值,这也是古籍在图书馆藏书中占有特殊位置的原因。但是,一直以来,古籍机读目录的建设工作缺乏标准,没有合适的系统,停步不前。CALIS于2004年建成了古籍联机编目系统,目前已初具规模。文章详细介绍了CALIS古籍联机编目系统的技术框架、软件平台、系统功能特点、工作流程、运营情况、共建共享机制等方面的内容,并对其不足作了探讨,同时阐述了它对中国高校图书馆古籍事业的重大意义。
Chinese ancient books are important special collections in library holdings as Chinese cultural heritage. For a long time, there were no standards and systems for machine-readable catalog for Chinese ancient books. CALIS developed the Online Cataloging System for Chinese Ancient Books in 2004. This paper gives details of the architecture, software platform, features, main functions, workflows and operations of the system. The author also examines the shortages of the system and its role in the area of cataloging Chinese ancient books in the universities of China.
