The characteristics and functions of the ControlLogix PLC system are described. The application of this system in two of the water treatment systems of certain petrochemical plant is introduced. The reliability of these two systematic networks is analyzed,and the applications of ControlNet,RSLinx,RSLogix 5000 and RSView32 softwares are expounded, which shows the ControlLogix PLC system’s application is flexible and simple and safe in operation.
