According to the design and consultant procedure of a foreign five-star hotel,the authors introduce the working progress of the consultant & design company,present the electrical system of the hotel and compare it with the normal design in China. The main points for reference are the cooperation of different consultants in project management progress,specification of equipments and services,the design is based on the international standards and the design guide of the hotel,the classification of essential loads which power are supplied by the diesel generator,the emergency lighting in the hotel,elevator system design and the introduction of guest room control unit etc.
