Enhanced OAI Framework Based on Peer-to-Peer Mode

近年来,解决数字资源共享问题的技术和标准成为研究热点。介绍了OAI协议的特色、优势和弱点,提出了一种基于Peer-to-Peer网络的支持分布式搜索的OAI框架。该框架增强了DataProvider搜索能力,保证了高可靠性和负载平衡。

In the last decade,many methods have been proposed to resolve the problem of digital resources sharing,such as OAI,Z39.50,Search Engine technology,etc.,some of these have more or less shortcomings.In this paper,we propose that data providers form a peer-to-peer network which supports distributed search over all connected metadata repositories.In this framework,data provider achieves higher reliability and workload balancing.In the end,we also discuss the advantages our framework.
