基于方向特性的指纹图像预处理

摘要 指纹图像具有方向特性,利用这一特点对指纹图像进行预处理可以达到意想不到的效果.本文中先对采集到的指纹图像进行背景有效区域提取,然后用Sobel算子计算得到指纹的方向角,并加以修正后用于提取前景有效区.实验证明经过修正后的方向角使指纹的方向更加可靠的.对图像进行基于该修正方向角的Gabor增强滤波,以及二值化可以大大提高处理精度.实验结果显示,该预处理算法可以有效去除指纹图像中的噪声,并能提高处理速度. The fingerprint image has a orientation character,which could be introduced into the pre-processing of it and get unexpected good effects. In this paper the background efficient area extraction is first done to the fingerprint image after it is getted ,then the orientation angle is gained by calculating with Sobel operator and is used for the foreground efficient area extraction after it has been modified. It has been proved by the experiment the modified orientaion angle makes the fingerprint's direction more credible. The modified orientaion angle is used for Gabor filter and binarization of fingerprint image could greatly improve the precision. The results have proved that this arithmetic of pre-processing could remove the yawps from the fingerprint image efficiently,and could quicken the processing.
