我国东北地区自远古以来,既是多民族生存繁衍的地方,又是多种文化交融发展之通道。东北各民族在历史发展进程中创造了丰富多样的民族文化。如今,东北少数民族在现代化、城市化和一体化过程中走在全国各民族的前列,东北民族的发展历程对其他地区民族现代化的实现有重要借鉴意义。应当重视现代化进程中的东北民族研究。

From the ancient times the northeast regions in China are places both for the living and multiplication of different nationalities,and passageways for the mixing and development of different cultures.During the historical development,peoples of northeastern minorities have created varied and colorful national cultures.Nowadays,the minorities in the northeast take lead in the process of modernization,urbanization and integration among all nationalities in China,which can be used as references for nationalities in other regions.
