范成大是中国文学史上著名的山水田园诗人,其诗作较多地被人关注的是田园风光。综合其诗作,透过秀美的田园风光我们能够看到一些宋代社会底层劳动人民生活的原始风貌,对于研究宋代的社会经济具有一定的史学价值。结合他的代表作《四时田园杂兴》组诗,以秀美的田园风光反衬农民生之多艰,更具有意想不到之效果。
