A brief survey is given about a method of implementing real-time drawing in PowerPoint presentation.With MATLAB ActiveX and PowerPoint integrated by VBA,the results of real-time drawing are shown in PowerPoint presentation,which can enhance the telepresence and sense of participation of listeners,thus improving speech or lecture qualities.Furthermore,the presentation has fairly strong capabilities of on-the-scene calculating and drawing,which presents a simple and convinient practical method for composing CAI works suited to science and engineering courses.
