IEEE 802.15.3 WPAN中保证实时业务QoS的能量管理机制的研究

摘要 无线个域网(WPAN)是一种在小范围内实现宽带无线多媒体接入的系统。本文提出了在WPAN中分层MAC层调度算法,该算法不但能够保证实时业务的QoS,而且能够有效地节约设备的能量。首先将业务根据优先级分类,高优先级的业务首先被分配时隙。采用了最小度搜索算法,使得设备苏醒次数最小化,从而达到节能的效果。为了进一步降低因为分层带来的额外耗能,本文又提出了共享公共设备的方法。仿真结果表明本文提出的MAC层分层调度算法既能够满足实时业务的QoS需求,也可以降低设备的能量消耗。 WPAN enables multimedia connectivity between portable devices within a personal operating space. This paper proposes a novel quality of service (QoS) guaranteed power-efficient management scheme for IEEE 802.15.3 HR-WPAN, coined Hierarchical MAC Scheduling Scheme (HMSS). The design objectives of HMSS are to guarantee the QoS of real-time services and minimize the power consumption of energy-sensitive DEVs. By classifying traffics into layers with different priorities, HMSS schedules the traffic layer with high priority preferentially. The order of intra-layer traffics is scheduled to minimize the wakeup times. In addition, a sharing common DEV scheme (SCDS) is proposed to reduce the number of the patches caused by classifying traffics. Simulation results show that HMSS not only guarantees the QoS requirements of real-time services in IEEE 802.15.3 HR-WPAN, but also saves the energy of device.
