美国邮政,在1971年7月1日之前,是美国联邦政府邮政部,是美国最老的政府部门;之后,是美国邮政服务公司,是美国最大的国有企业。美国邮政政企转换,从总体看是成功的,效果非常显著,同时也存在一些问题。这些对于中国的改革,具有启发和借鉴意义。

Before July 1, 1971. US Postal Office was known as the Postal Department with the second longest history under the Federal Administration. Afterwards, it changed to US Postal Service, which is the largest business company wholly owned by the Federal Government. Generally speaking, the transfer of US Postal Office to the largest state-owned enterprise has been proved a great success, but there exist some problems at the same time. We can draw on the change and make use of the experience, which will enlighten the reform in China.
