Explanation of Bian and Bianwen

本文试图从传统文化和外来文化的双重视角,对"变"一词的由来和涵义、"变 文"之来源和形成作一思考探究,提出变文之命名当是文化合流的产物。

This paper attempts to explore the origin and meaning of the word Bian and the origin and formation of Bianwen from the angle of both traditional and foreign culture. The author thinks that the name of Bianwen is the result of the mixture of different cultures.
