摘要
为了提高车牌定位的实时性和有效性,利用车牌的几何特征和纹理特征,提出了基于边缘检测和投影法相结合的车牌定位算法。由于车牌图像摄取的特殊性,使得拍到的车牌图像有不同程度的倾斜变形,而倾斜的车牌很难被分割和识别,必须对车牌定位之后的车牌图像进行倾斜矫正,该文给出了基于Radon变换的倾斜矫正算法。实验结果表明该车牌定位算法和倾斜矫正算法都是快速有效的。
A license plate location algorithm based on the combination of edge detection and projection is put forward by means of the geometric and texture information of the license plate area.Due to the particularity of shooting license plate,it is usually slantwise in image,therefore,slant correction of licnese plate must be carried out in PLR system.A license plate slant correction algorithm based on Radon transform is given.A lot of experiments have shown that the proposed methods are satisfactory in both speed and accuracy.
