一种基于网格简化的细分曲面生成算法

A Simplification Algorithm of Triangle Mesh Based on Quadric Error Metrics

摘要 该文基于细分曲面的极限点计算方法,提出了一种采用二次误差边折叠技术生成细分曲面控制网格的改进算法,用细分极限点代替两次细分点,并增加一个存储细分极限点的顶点信息结构。实验结果表明,该算法在没有增加计算量的基础上,可以有效地提高细分曲面的质量,并适合处理复杂的几何模型。 Based on the calculation of the limit points on subdivision surface,give an algorithm to create subdivision surface,which used mesh simplification to construct the original control mesh.Through the experiment,we can see that our algorithm can improved the quality of the subdivision surface efficiently,and be fit to deal with complicated model.
