This paper is based on the process of developing and designing the complete digitized distortion meter,elaborating its basic principle;It also makes a comparison between the digital distortion meter and the analog distortion meter,as well as expounds the feasibility study on the digital distortion meter by using DSP technology;Besides,it explains how to prove up the designing proposal of digital distortion meter and how to choose the essential components;Finally,it introduces the principle of the digital distortion meter.During the entire elaboration process,the author carries on the detailed equation development and the principle proving.
