Education Quality and Features of the Movement of Higher Education Quality Assurance

20世纪七、八十年代以后 ,高等教育掀起了国际范围内的高等教育质量保障运动 ,这既是高等教育面对诸多问题所作的回应 ,又为高等教育提供了发展机遇。 90年代末我国以扩招为主旋律的高等教育大发展使得教育质量问题越来越引起人们的关注 ,我们有必要把这个问题与国际潮流结合起来 ,以期在加入WTO之际 ,尽快实现与国际高等教育的接轨。

The Movement of higher education quality assurance has been set off around the world since the 1980s.This movement meant responses to the crucial problems existing among the higher education system.Meanwhile,it provides opportunities for developing higher education.There has been great development of higher education of China since the end of the 1990s.However,as its major feature is to enlarge enrollment,the education quality of this system has increasingly brought to the peoples concern.It is necessary for us to combine this problem with the international trends,so as to catch up with the development of higher education of other countries when joining WTO.
