汉语在一定程度上比英语语言的使用更加灵活 ,这种灵活性并非没有限度 ,如果把握不好灵活度 ,势必出现意义混乱 ,造成不良后果。因此 ,在多些“柔性”的同时 ,要把握好“刚性”

This paper first reviews some important features of the Chinese language, which prove that the Chinese language is more flexible than English. But the flexibility has its constraints and limits. One example illustrates that too much flexibility can cause trouble in meaning understanding. In conclusion, this paper calls for the maintenance of the proper “prescriptive” attitude while “descriptive” attitude is exercised toward language.
