摘要
语言的使用受其所属文化各种因素的制约。跨越不同文化背景的语言交际常会因为源发语与目的语之间的文化———语用差异而产生各种语用障碍或曰“语用失误”。要培养外语学习者的跨文化语用能力 ,应该转变教学观念 ,改进教学过程 ,不仅要注意语言表达的正确性 ,更要注意其语境的得体性 ,重视语言形式的文化意义及其交际功能。
The use of language is greatly influenced by the cultural elements that consist in the language. The cultural pragmatic differences between the source language and the target language are responsible for the pragmatic failures of various kinds in intercultural communications. It is emphasized in this paper that to possess intercultural pragmatic competence for effective cross-cultural communications, importance should be attached not only to the grammatical correctness of language, but also to its contextual acceptability, namely, its cultural and communicative appropriateness in the course of foreign language teaching and learning.
