An Investigation on the Chinese Dialects in Northern Guangdong

粤北方言调查研究在汉语方言学上曾是一个薄弱的环节 ,直到 2 0世纪 80年代以后才有较为可观的调查研究成果面世。搜索并披露古代文献典籍中这方面的零星记载 ,条分缕析现代方言学时期与此相关的研究成果及线索 ,既是对粤北汉语方言调查研究的贡献 ,也可以加深对这一学术领域整体研究面貌的认识和了解。

In the past,the Chinese dialects in Northern Guangdong was almost untouched by Chinese dialectologists.There were almost no survey reports about these dialects until the 1980s,and since then some useful articles are now available.To research for the scattered records of these dialects in old documents and arrange them systematically also contribute a lot to this research.This may help us to understand more of these interesting dialects.
