三峡工程混凝土总量约2 800万m3，其中Ⅰ&ⅡB标段主要包括泄洪坝段和左厂10#～14#坝段，混凝土量为776.56万m3，占二期工程混凝土总量1 846万m3的42%，Ⅰ&ⅡB标段从1999年开始混凝土浇筑，至今累计完成600万m3。泄洪坝段混凝土施工直接关系到三峡工程总进度。
