Taking Employment as Guide to Improve English Listening and Speaking Skills of Higher Vocational Students

坚持以就业为导向 ,是我国高职教育的发展方向 ,随着高等职业教育在我国高等教育中的地位与作用日益增强 ,通过加强高职生的英语听说应用能力 ,增强他们的就业竞争力 ,是高职英语教学亟需解决的一个问题 ;依据《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》 ,对高职生英语学习现状、加强英语听说能力的现实意义和理论依据进行了分析 。

Taking employment as guide is the developing direction of higher vocational education in China. With the enforcement of the status and function of higher vocational education, it is a problem in urgent need of solution to improve applied listening and speaking skills of higher vocational students so as to strengthen their competing abilities of obtaining employment. According to Basic English Curriculum Requirements for Higher Vocational Education, the article brings forward some countermeasures of strengthening English listening and speaking skills through analyzing the present situation, the practical significance and the theoretical basis of English learning of higher vocational students.
