金钱板是流行在四川地区的一种民间曲艺形式。金钱板曾名金剑板、三才板。关于它的来历,众说纷纭,莫衷一是。有的说是战国时代孟尝君弃武学文之初,对于伏案读书很不习惯,便命童子用双剑击打,讴歌解闷,故有“金剑板”之谓。有的说是《水浒》故事中的浪子燕青下山办事,途中把路费用光了,临时用三块竹板边打边唱,求得盘川。三块竹板是配合天、地、人三才,故又称之为“三才板”。这种传说不免牵强附会,但也从侧面说明金钱板朴素,优美的特色。不过,
