With the progress in AI in recent years, its application-fields have been enlarged increasingly. At the same time, one field of educational technology, distance education, is facing some problems in practical applications. By discussing these problems, considers that combining research field of AI with distance education of educational technology could resolve the problems which distance education faces at present and promotes its own opinion.
