Simile and Metaphor in Poetic Perspective

隐喻是文学的基本问题之一,明喻与隐喻的归属之争古已有之。从形象映射、语词作用方式、诗学效果只能说明隐喻与明喻二者所具有的相同地方,并不能说明二者之间的归属问题,但是却可以看作明喻归属于隐喻这一事实的一般表征和补充,而从隐喻的发展角度出发则可以说明喻归属于隐喻。

Metaphor is one of the basic problems of literature and what simile and metaphor belong to has always been a dispute.Image mapping,word function way and poetic effect can only conclude that metaphor and simile have something in common,but that there is any ownership between them.However,the above can be regarded as the general demonstration and supplement that simile belongs to metaphor,while the development of metaphor also can show that simile belongs to metaphor.
